Kuzam was born in Age 425 on Planet Toeroy, 6 years shy of the Battoi Rebellion, which lasted for 18 years, during which his father, Kuzumus, led the Saiyan race as Chief and later died in 465. Kuzam served in the Battoi War (Saiyans vs. Battos) as a young man in the late 440s. Saiyans left Toeroy in 449 and later found several other planets to inhabit, but none would suit them (until Planet Plant in 550), so Kuzam spent most of his life travelling and building houses commonly on different homeworlds. He married and had four children in the early 500s.
His son and grandson, Kuzik and Kuzuk, farmers, were the first Kuz's on Planet Plant in 550, and later founded the Kuz colony named Kuzik's Landing.
