Introduction[]
The Devil Beasts, or Gouma, are creatures hailing from the Brahnu sector of the galaxy. Previously, they were docile creatures whose growth was stunted from the presence of stronger predators, but now, after the events of Lookout 1, they became the only species adaptable enough to survive in their nearly-destroyed planet. Coming into contact with the DNA of multiple beings which had once landed on their planet during great wars, their biological growth and development changed for the worse for all creatures everywhere.
After 500 years, they had gained the adaptation required for travel in space, and they have already begun taking the universe by storm. Only time will tell how long it would take before everyone recognizes it as a threat.
Personality[]
It is unknown if the Devil Beasts have a personality, or are capable of understanding language, however the fact that their acts are coordinated suggests that there is some form of intelligence guiding their actions.
Biology[]
The Devil Beasts are called so due to their many biological traits which are similar to devils. However, contrary to their name, they are not actually Devils in the sense that they are magical in nature, but rather because of their unique biology and powerset which makes them hard to kill.
Generally, they are seen to be able to "transmute" surrounding matter into biological masses, particularly if the matter is made from inanimate objects which are devoid of soul, via infecting them. They may transform into puddles of goo when physically battered to death, but this may be absorbed by its fellow beast to either gain more strength, or reconstitute its ally. This frightening tenacity, combined with its ability to absorb matter after having infected it, makes it almost impossible to put down. Due to its highly malleable biomass, it can freely recombine with others of its kind to produce new, bizarre beasts.
Also, it seems that they are capable of using energy attacks, though the exact energy being used is unknown.

History[]
The Devil Beasts have started invading the Milky Way Galaxy, defeating almost all forces standing against it. Technological weapons seem to have little effect against the speed with which they multiply, and their powers too versatile to adapt to in the heat of battle. Currently they are about to reach Earth, seemingly planning to indiscriminately destroy it.
